Tom Morton

Tom Morton is a Scottish writer, broadcaster, journalist, funeral celebrant and musician. He lives and works mainly in the Shetland Islands. Tom has written several books, the most recent being Holy Waters: Searching for the Sacred in a Glass, for which he won a 2023 Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Award for Best Drink Book, and It Tolls for Thee: A Guide to Celebrating and Reclaiming the End of Life. He is currently hosting a weekly internet radio show called The Beatcroft Social, and blogs regularly about food, island life and music.
